Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Underdark Expeditions (Set 36)
Wow, had no idea WoW had Salamanders. Even their design is totally like the 3E D&D ones. Blizzard sure ripped off everyone they could, from GW to WotC... They did. They did indeed. To play devil's advocate here though; there are also tons of original monster designs (and names too) that we have...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Underdark Expeditions (Set 36)
Though I guess fantasy biology studies are easier than ours, if you can just walk up to the creature and ask it about their reproductive behavior (before applying a lot of sunscreen and potions of fire resistance, of course) Love me some Fire Salamanders. My favorite ones are the Warcraft one...

Re: What did you buy this week?
Forgot I bought these until they arrived. I'm a sucker for weird monsters and this was a really nice hand painted lot for a great price. No clue what they are from but they seem to be production items rather than 3D prints: Fairly certain that a lot of the round-based ones are from Zombicide Invade...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Underdark Expeditions (Set 36)
Plus, given how much paint jobs have improved since RoD, I welcome a better painted one! I would agree and welcome another one, but Nolzur's has two of them for 5.99$ (less actually cuz I always find them discounted in stores xD) and you can paint them very easily and make them look awesome yoursel...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Underdark Expeditions (Set 36)
Well today I hit jackpot. :geek: https://wizkids.com/dd-icons-of-the-realms-underdark-expeditions-set/ This made me feel extremely nostalgic for those old-school checklists that used to come with some collectibles. Star Wars miniatures used to have one in every booster (without pictures, ...

Re: Dungeons & Lasers VII: Porthaven
There are a lot of cool miniatures, particularly in the port and ship's crew sets. But...I have so many miniatures already, and honestly the props don't do much for me. Except the bunk beds. I could use them. With stretch goals, it might get to a point where FOMO draws me in, but right now I am sit...

Re: KSB Snow Owl's Painted Mini's
This terrain piece has sat half-done for long enough… Oh that is one beautiful piece of terrain. Is it part of a terrain set? I'd love to get it for my own RPG games. I use tons of astromancy/astral magic stuff so astrolabes, especially of that size, are always extremely useful. I also can't wait t...

Re: Dungeons & Lasers VII: Porthaven
Places record on for my comment " Waiting on the stretch goals to show me more before I decide" but could be Deckhand Ship if the Stretch goals start to impress me. Right now I am only happy about the lobster and the docks. The rest is kind of meh for me... so I am on the sidelines still ...

A 5th wave went up. Normally Auggies puts up only 4 waves. It looks like a 6th wave will come tomorrow, maybe even a 7th wave on wednesday. Remember all of the, "This set with be the next Witchlight/Mwangi"? It's a solid set! To be fair, I do not think anyone ever believed this set ...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Potato Head Beholder & GAMA Exclusive variant promo version
Did I just break the whole argument by not being American and wanting a potato head cuz I think it's cool? For what it's worth, I think it's a brilliant product, both as a toy and as a collectible. I always said that a potato head is a fantastic kids' toy and at the same time also one of the most ic...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Adventures from Baldur's Gate (Set 35) and Baldur's Gate 3 - Characters Set
Looking through the set list again, the only one I'm not eager for is the Shambling Mound. It's an ok mini, but we just have had too many of them lately. The rest of the set is great! You know, I'm actually selling mine from Phandelver. The color is so intense, it's just not for me. Really? I actua...
