I'll take 2. I'll need an extra to break apart so that I can glue the sorcerer and the little dragon to separate salvaged Mage Knight dials.

Re: Lego D&D Minifigure Set!

Friggin Lego, man. Makes me regret opening the stocking stuffer I got at Christmas. I wonder how much a loose Tasha goes for...

Edit: not much. Also, phrasing...

Re: Dungeons and Lasers VI: Caves

I wish they would. If not, that's two in a row where they said they'd have a final gallery in time but didn't. My mind was made up based on shape, but i get how nerve-wracking it is for those who still haven't closed because Archon has been too busy to take pics.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Underdark Expeditions (Set 36)

Pay attention to the teeth on the rares once they're in hand. They're shown all different lengths in the renders, which would be preferred. But in both of the Nolzur examples I have, they are uniform, and I think that's partly to blame for my diminished drive to finish this paintjob. It just ain't w...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Return of the Dragons (Set 34)

Yep, you're seeing the same trends roll around again that Wizkids has been addicted to since Topps: Chase, chase, chase fatigue grumble grumble, no chase, no chase, repeat. Remember that the invisible variants of the first few sets of Icons were chase rarity - they just weren't popular. Like, at all...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Underdark Expeditions (Set 36)

I backburnered this Nolzur's in the fall. I feel like it still needs something. Mine won't glow in the dark. I have another one, though...

Re: The Random Questions Thread

That caps many of the rumors we've been hearing for the past year. Sad to see it come true.

Re: Jungle adventure?

Not to be a smartass, and not knowing what things are like where you live this time of year, but there is no cheaper jungle battlemap than an unkempt lawn. There's also a particular joy about playing with toys outside that not even adulthood can diminish.

Re: Good terrain for an overgrown manor house/cellar?

This just occurred to me, not something I have done yet, but I wonder if you could use paracord to simulate vines. It's cheap stuff, but you'd be buying at least 25' of it. There are various diameters and likely numerous shades of green. It can probly be found in just about any craft or sporting goo...

It's probably my agricultural upbringing, but to me it looks like this horse is breaking wind on a cold day.

Re: DC Heroclix: Masters of Time

I'll admit that I am less protective of HeroClix. I do still believe it's a great game and I wish minis guys would play that game and use the minis (with original dial bases intact (because ya can)) for other games as they will, but y'all know I'm mostly being facetious. Tms, check out the Units tab...

No, no there is not. Don't bother looking. You should give up this pursuit. Completely.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Adult Black Dragon Corruptor (2024 Edition)

Yeah, I didn't watch NI's vid. The green accents look great. My gut tells me this will be a smaller print run than the older boxed Black, but I'm still gonna wait for a clearance sale to nab it. Won't cry if I miss out.

I'm going to feel a little bad about this, but you should beware, just in case, and learn all you can about the Cult of the Woodchuck.
