Re: Dungeons & Lasers VII: Porthaven

Dunno. I don't need another giant ship, and I have a ton of pirate miniatures and props from backing Reaper campaigns. The most recent DF campaign will keep me set for building a port. Palm trees might get me to pledge, but miniatures won't really do it. I find D&L miniatures both very inconsist...

Re: Dungeons & Lasers VII: Porthaven

If they really wanna get me onboard, they just need to show me some palm trees. Parrot/leopard-themed griffin is awful fun, though.

Re: CMON: CTHULU: Death May Die season 2

My package arrived yesterday - I'm pretty happy with it! The game looks great on its own, and I've been wanting to start a new Call of Cthulhu campaign, and this will let me do it with more than enough miniatures. Plus, most of them will be fantastically useful for D&D and other TTRPGs. I got th...

Re: Dungeons and Lasers VI: Caves

D&L have a massive advantage in that they are in Poland and have their own factory, so costs are cheap enough that they can produce their own stuff and control the process. I think they may revolutionize the business...if the rise of virtual tabletops doesn't render it largely obsolete. I'm root...

Re: Dungeons and Lasers VI: Caves

Just got a notification that my order is preparing for shipping, which seems incredible and, frankly, unlikely. Maybe by "preparing for shipping" they just mean that there's nothing more I need to do.

Re: Dwarven Forge Fans Thread

I haven’t branched into the hellscape yet. It looks awesome though. It *is* awesome but it's the one line where I recommend paying extra to get it painted. It is extremely time consuming to paint and the factory painted stuff looks better than mine. It hurts me to type that, but it's true. The chal...

Not loving the dark wash used on white paint, like on these outfits. It just makes them look really dirty. Definitely not how I imagine Alustriel, in particular.

Re: Lethal Shadows - (not) - Tiamat

I am kinda surprised by seeing this at Gencon videos and photos... sure she has tiny vestigial wings here and there and looks different, but even her heads are all the 5E style Chromatic designs... And they even call the mini Tiamat, not some fake name... Is WotC OK with this? https://www.lethalsha...

I'm looking forward to seeing some of your builds posted here!

For me, the "killer app" of Warlock Tiles is their double-sided floors. I'm really looking forward to seeing the new sewer ones in use.

Re: Dwarven Forge Fans Thread

Thank you very much! I’m still trying to decide which route I’m going to go (dwarven forge or warlock), but two sets unpainted is much cheaper than two painted. I love magnetized terrain so that’s where I’m leaning but I like the ooze and stuff in warlock. I loved magnetized tiles in general, but i...

Re: WizKids WarLock Tiles

So, I came here to get some more experienced opinions on this. Is the currently running Warlock Starter Kit bonus (with the 50$ purchase) on Wizkids.com worth it? I was thinking of getting some Nolzur's minis we had on our wishlist to actually get a couple of this (potentially 2 or 3 sets to have m...

Quite the opposite, for me. Though to be honest, I've only read a part of one.
