Re: D&D Icons of the Realms Adventures from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 3
Faiths & Avatars: During the Time of Troubles, the powers of the Realms were forced to either place all of their divine power in one mortal avatar or, if they exist on multiple planes, were forced to create avatars upon whose existence their entire future divine connections to the Realms were st...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms Adventures from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 3
Ahh, so not official official, but given the blessing from the creators. It's an interesting idea at least! It depends what you mean by official? Published by WotC? That would exclude the video games, these are licensed. Published and licensed by WotC? Ed's original agreement was anything he writes...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms Adventures from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 3
Sure.
Written by Eric Boyd, edited by George Krashos, published on DMsGuild. And given Ed's blessing. It is well worth the $4.
These guys love the Realms and are doing the work WotC should be doing.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms Adventures from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 3
Some scholars of that story in lore claim Jergal has a larger plan in place that is beyond mortal scopes, but it of course, remains unknown. It gets even more interesting, it turns out Jergal was one of the few surviving Spell Weavers after the attempt to advance their entire race to divinity faile...

Re: Yanoman - Demon's Chronicle miniatures
This line first came to my attention in the sale thread where an Egyptian god was listed. Those could be useful for some D&D.

Re: Builders of Baldur’s Gate?
Sounds meh. I doubt they can beat Lords of Waterdeep great D&D themed boardgame. They made "two" expansions but I was always surprised they didn't extend the concept to other cities.

Re: What did you buy this week?
I'll get some better grick shots tomorrow. DnD_mini_001.jpg Maybe a 20% increase in length if you stretched them out, but about a 20% decrease in bulk. On the table it does read a bit bigger than the others. Honestly, I have a large appreciation for the old DDM minis, these Gricks and that Pit Fien...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms (Set 31): 50th Anniversary Miniatures Set!
Not a fan of the production colour. Looks like a bad 90s track suit. And the head now looks like Eminems 90s hair. They did Vecna dirty with this! I think thats the 5e Vecna, not 1e. Also not a fan of the production version, nearly bought one before realizing the color was so off. I'm not very fami...

I was just thinking the same thing. If people go crazy after the chases hopefully they'll be an abundance of the other minis on the market.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms (Set 31): 50th Anniversary Miniatures Set!
Has anyone else noticed the 1e Vecna, missing eye and hand, has a very different color scheme in actual production than in the previews? I was comparing our image here to this image earlier. https://www.minisgallery.com/images/minis/dungeons-and-dragons-icons-of-the-realms/50th-anniversary/DDM33-043...

He was a 3e April Fool's Day gag. When I saw the sculpt I'm like that's a Pie Fiend. So of course I needed a Pit Fiend too

Re: What did you buy this week?
Things finally started coming in. DnD_minis_01.jpg The 5e Pit Fiend is too lean for my liking. So I grabbed the old DDM one, and the 1e Pit Fiend will make an excellent "Pie Fiend". I just need to find apron that fits him. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcToUTVEFco4PqH...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms (Set 31): 50th Anniversary Miniatures Set!
Anyone who has the chase cartoon figures can do a groupshot with the Stormwreck Island minis? I am curious how they look, since I think those 4 got a bit redesigned to look less cartoony. DnD_Cartoon_1.jpg Will this do? Taking inventory of all last week's deliveries. Personally I think it works. Sh...
