Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Adventures from Baldur's Gate (Set 35) and Baldur's Gate 3 - Characters Set

This is too bad, they're very small, not meant to be zoomed in on and viewed on a monitor. An 8" statue would be $100 or more and easier to have detail. It seems that is what people wanted or expected. I was quite happy with the price vs quality of this set compared to other pre-painted minis. ...

Depends on what you mean by 'anything'. I finally sold a set (bought 2) locally for $80.

I think $20 for each promo box is a fair price unless it is a particularly good one.

Re: Sales and events

Huh, gift cards? You can buy them for Wizkids products? Or these are more like generic gift cards that can be used in any webshop? Sadly, all the ones I have gotten at work for achievements were only useable in specific physical stores. EDIT: something weird happened. 50th Anniversary went back to ...

Re: Sales and events

Just noticed that sets like: Sea & Shores Phandelver & Below Bigby's Glory of Giants Are also on the 50% off sale but not listed in the banner ad sale. You have to go to their specific page to see them discounted. I've been waiting for any sale on Bigby's so going to snag some cases of that...

Re: What did you buy this week?

My dndmini order of the Witchlight Carnival, a bunch of premium minis, and harengon and pixie successfully crossed the border to my doorstep without fees. I have some gift cards I bought to get the dragon wyrmling promos and I'm using them up before whatever happens with tariffs on China impacts pri...

Re: Sales and events

I suppose it's possible this is someone from minisgallery selling this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/167434081680 Price seems silly high but It got me wondering what I would value my collection at? would have to be more than 22k. Probably a lot more. I messaged the seller for a bit of clarity. Probably...

Re: Tariffs - FACTUAL - NO POLITICS PLEASE

First off, this thread will have hints politics in it. You can't go to the doctor and have a conversation about the pain you feel in your leg without occasionally hinting at the knife someone stabbed you with :) Second, I'm actually pretty sure there isn't anything to discuss tariff wise as its all...

Re: Tariffs - FACTUAL - NO POLITICS PLEASE

I'd love to have a locked and pinned thread maintained by mods which lays out the facts as they are updated and relevant to us.

Re: tariffs

I think the tariffs thread is valuable but also will end up being about politics.

I suggest keeping it locked but have moderators update it to provide factual information regarding the current and promised future state of tariffs on toys.

Re: Are sealed bricks from OLGS’s really random?

Well, bricks are sealed not just by tape, but also in pretty impossible to open (without damage) nylon covering, too. Wizkids even has its logo on this plastic cover now, so you can easily see if it has been damaged. And trust me, this stuff is impossible to open and re-seal. It is super thin and e...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Underdark Expeditions (Set 36)

Ah yeah, you are right, Return of the Dragons had Huges! Usually we have at least 1 set with Huges every year. But last year, we didn't - the Hexton was the only Huge and that was almost a Large too until Vexwing managed to get the base size fixed at the factory. This year, we had Huges in Return o...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Underdark Expeditions (Set 36)

I like the way Return of the Dragons did it.

The dragons are essentially huge when it comes to overall size due to their wings.

The giants come in 2 parts.

That seems like a good way to get us bigger minis without a set of all huge minis.

Re: Canada - US tariffs

It is hard not to talk of politics, when there are factors impacting (or may be impacting) aspects of our hobby, however lets please try to veer away from politics as much as possible in these discussions. Which I know is likely easier said than done :) Thanks Kor. I put it in this forum because it...

Re: Singles in Canada

If you want singles in Toronto, ON, I would look at Sword and Board. They have a decent selection. Prices aren't amazing, but I've seen worse. There's also Dragon World in Brampton, ON. Not sure if that's been talked about in this forum already. I bought a Bone Devil from them from Vecna Eve of Rui...
