I replaced my Vallejo branded ones (game color) with those (because they were old) and I'm happy with them.
I would say same quality.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Return of the Dragons (Set 34)
I missed the price increase. D'Oh. What are they thinking??? I've literally never bought a single loose booster. Always singles or cases. Do we have a timeline-graph of the last 20 years of boosters and their pricings? I would be very interested in seeing that. My main thought...it is possible to i...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Return of the Dragons (Set 34)
I think this set is going to mark the end of my collecting. I love the better quality and would like to keep upgrading my collection but it looks like $25 will be the new base price. Even at $20 I wait for deep discounts. If my collection was smaller I would still be picking these up but I think the...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms (Set 31): 50th Anniversary Miniatures Set!
Thanks a lot for the unboxing, Theo! Will go through and post screenshots soon, but quickly just some observations: -Seems the 2 Medium Rares in this brick were the 1E and 5E versions of Mordenkainen, possibly meaning you get both versions of the same character per brick? Though there was also 5E L...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms - Tracking Three Kobolds in a Trenchcoat and other Promo Miniatures
I will pay $200 for the Lunar myself if that sets a market floor for you. Seems the one I was looking for did not include the Astral Dreadnaught either. So thats disappointing. I guess the best is the one ad_hoc linked above. $711 CAD, or $519.17 USD. Currently in a dispute on Amazon with them over...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms - Tracking Three Kobolds in a Trenchcoat and other Promo Miniatures
Has anyone seen the Young Lunar Dragon Spelljammer CE exclusive available, and if so, is there a general pricing for one? I know the Space Clowns and Giff pop up now and again. I have only ever seen the Fizban ones broken up and 1 time someone did the Witchlight right when it first came out. The re...

Wow.
The odds of those boosters is at most 1 in 63.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse (Set 30)
I sliced off the bat wing from Gertrude and now she makes a great townsfolk mini. I even like the rolling pin behind the back as I like when players are suspicious of everyone and everything. Photos please! I've been debating exactly this but never bought one. It's a really small change. There are ...

Re: What did you buy this week?
Picked up my 2 bricks of Planescape. Didn't do great with the rares, mostly because of the Ettin which is quite a dud for a Planescape set. Gertrude would even be a fun mini if there wasn't a bat wing on it which limits its usefulness. Decaton, Gertrude, Time Wyrmling Ettin, Doomguard, Hound Archon,...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse (Set 30)
The set could be a bit better but it is no Witchlight. I'm happy to have it as I'm running the adventure. I wouldn't purchase it at regular price but that is true of all sets now. I preordered 2 bricks at 40% off (from $160 CAD) before we saw the minis and I'm still happy. I still wouldn't want Witc...

I found Descent to be too specific with the specialty demons.BBShockwave wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 8:11 am I love thematic sets, IMHO these types have been the strongest Wizkids mini products so far - Boneyard, Descent into Avernus, Sand & Stone, Seas & Shores, and now this set.

Sales of singles is not always indicative of sales of boosters.
