Re: Dwarven Forge Fans Thread
I’ve used clear picture tac a lot in my Warlock Tile builds. This bridge would have been impossible without it. The tac gave it strength, but also spaced the top of each wall along the side of the bridge to give it that gentle curve. We even used it to keep the minis from sliding off the bridge duri...

Re: What did you buy this week?
Got this guy I have been chasing forever for U$5 :D So my question is, do you rip it out of the packaging, or save it as a collection piece? I seriously have difficulties with these decisions. Personally, I don’t keep nothing in package, I buy stuff to use, not to resell one day, but I unde...

Re: Guyra's D&D 3.5 Campaign Diary
Huh interesting, that sarcophagus looks like the 3E Gold Dragon head, and has wings too... I guess this is from the era when they started to give them wings already opposed to the 2E chinese-Dragon design? Yeah, I think this design(along with the skull headed black dragon, etc.) came with 3e? When ...

Re: Prepaints of yore or esoteric places (i.e. of the past or small companies)
Painted (of course!) with legs. And a Baba Yaga’s hut without legs is just a hut.
So if you can only make it one way then with the legs. But, if it is easy enough, having the hut also without legs would make more possibilities for use.

I still want that Baba Yaga’s Hut you were contemplating!

That’s worth it for the horn and drum alone…Gopesh1 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 5:02 pm $8 Battering Ram set

I really don’t need more than one battering ram, though.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Monster Manual Collection 1 (Set 37) & Remorhaz premium miniature
The split Ochre Jelly and Black Pudding minis are sorely needed. I may pick up a few other pieces, but as expected from a base set “reboot” there are an awful lot of duplicates of things I already have in numbers. I’ll be skipping all the large rares (the Nalfeshnee looks great, but WotC lost me whe...

Re: Character mini bases
Bases are a combination of black and clear for me. I painted the clear bases black for a brief period but then realized I'm fighting an ongoing, upward, non-stop battle. However, all my character PC minis follow with the black bases and if clear are painted. I like the consistency with the PC chara...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms (Set 25): Dragonlance : Shadow of the Dragon Queen
The kalaman, Dragon Army and Draconians sets pre-empted a lot of my interest in the main set, but I did end up picking up a lot of singles just for the purpose of filling out the sets into really decent warbands. I also picked up a lot of the rares. The Treant Noble is my favorite of them, but the B...

I like kobolds in less common chromatic colors.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms - Anthradusk - Ancient Blue Dragon
I like that the dragon is “equipped”. As highly intelligent vain hoarders, all dragons should be more like this. Unfortunately, I’m just not interested in buying in to the new look of the chromatics. Otherwise this guy would be a must have.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Adventures from Baldur's Gate (Set 35) and Baldur's Gate 3 - Characters Set
Over the past weeks, I opened six bricks of this set and I'm a bit ambivalent about it. I love Baldur's Gate 3, so all the characters representing that game is great, and I really love the tie ins etc. Also the quality of the mini's is great, the only dud rares I had were a badly painted Volo and a...

Hi all. Life and health are continuing to pose some challenges, but things are moving forward in a positive direction. I have chosen to retire from my career, and in about 45 days I will have considerable free time available for getting this website back up to date. Lucky you! I’m ready to retire s...

Re: Dwarven Forge Fans Thread
… I guess we all use our terrain in different ways. Whether that's for gaming or dioramas. I don't think there is a right or a wrong way. Just do what you like. :D I often find your dioramas to be incredible looking, but then when I think about trying to use them at a table I start seeing problems ...
