Re: Best way to sell minis?

I’ve noticed the decline in DDM prices. I’ve taken advantage of it to beef up some of my warbands with stuff that used to be prohibitively expensive. I agree that the saturation of certain pieces is the primary driver for lowering the value of the older stuff. Seriously, how many Mind Flayers, Behol...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms (Set 31): 50th Anniversary Miniatures Set!

I’m glad I got what I wanted from this set, if collectors are going to end up battling over what is left from it. I’m doubly happy I didn’t want many of the chase pieces.

Re: WizKids WarLock Tiles

Thanks for the detailed answer! I don't think I will mind mixing the walls and such. I can just think of it as an older part of the sewer. It almost adds flavour. Where did you get those levers? They're great. You get two levers in the City Sewers set. You get different wall hangings in the City Se...

Re: WizKids WarLock Tiles

That’s a good question. I don’t really know how to answer it for you, but I’ll try. Everything below is from a single City Sewer set. Spoiler, one set is probably not enough. But I also felt that way with the Dungeon Tiles core set as well. I picked what I thought may be a typical sewer battle. In m...

Re: WizKids WarLock Tiles

I have a couple of the City Sewer sets, but my Forgotten Sewers order had some snags. It should be here hopefully by the end of the week. I have found remarkably few places that are selling these sets (actually have them in stock) other than Wizkids themselves. I’ll be sure to post pictures once eve...

It’s most likely because on the set page, those minis didn’t have numbers assigned. Kor probably didn’t have that information when he last updated that page, even though we now know:

30 - Lady Alustriel Silverhand
33 - Red Abishai
34 - Eldritch Knight
36 - Kas as Mordenkainen

Re: Pathfinder Battles Set 21 - The Mwangi Expanse

1E Pathfinder gnolls are smaller in general This. Pathfinder has some very cool Gnoll sculpts but they are smaller than their D&D cousins. And there aren’t nearly as many minis to choose from. Most originating in the Dungeons Deep set. I don’t have all the Gnolls out there, I started getting pi...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Vecna: Eve of Ruin (Set 32) & Miska the Wolf-Spider

3.5 is fairly similar in regard to organization (40-400 + elites) for a tribe. However, it is unlikely enough that a party would run into a tribe as a single encounter, so I think a warband that can represent 25 or so rank and file Kuo-Toa plus one or a few of each of the elite types should probably...

The "free" is implicit for some reason.
Well, I don’t think it should be implicit, as there is also Buy One Get One Half Off.

Re: Sales and events

Buy 1, get 1. Basically putting a case price down to $125. Then all those large bases with a flight stands become useful as parts. Wouldn't that be buy 1, get 4? 125$ is the price of a brick... I heard the buy one, get one saying but never understood it. That sounds to me like you are getting as mu...

Wow, two Spiderdragons? Nice! They look good even on black bases.
Even on black bases? Those are fighting words! They look infinitely better on black bases….

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms Adventures from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 3

What’s the blue effect on the Shambling Mound?

There are actually a lot of characters I’d use as NPCs in this set, but that is probably because I haven’t played Baulder’s Gate and don’t see an association to the game in them.

The Bull and the Worg are useful minis, too.

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Quests from the Infinite Staircase (Set 33)

With the 50th Anniversary and Eve of Ruin sets coming out in rapid succession, I’m really hoping for this to be delayed until Mid November. Mini overload. Not only do I have to find a way to pay for them, I’ve got to get the overflow of clear bases painted and then I have to file everything away whe...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Vecna: Eve of Ruin (Set 32) & Miska the Wolf-Spider

Partial Auggies restock - most things seem to have come back into stock apart from the Hellwasp. Might be the clean-up wave and the Bone Devils / Driders are from the unexpected doubles-per-case (would explain lack of extra Hellwasps as I don't think we've had an example yet of any cases having 2 x...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Vecna: Eve of Ruin (Set 32) & Miska the Wolf-Spider

I ended up order singles from four different Vendors, so my Eve of Ruin minis have slowly been trickling in. I still don’t have my Auggies order, but it is on its way now. I took some comparison shots while I was modding the bases. I think they’ve mostly been covered, but one can never see too many ...
