Re: Pathfinder Battles: Wrath of the Wild

I bummed to see that the Werebat is a rare, I think it's the most compelling mini in the set! That said, they lineup looks great overall

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Kuo-Toa Warband

While this set looks great and gives me hope for the future of the Warbands series (I'm glad they're getting away from monsters that I have plenty of minis for already), the price point is definitely a concern. At 10$/mini, it would need to be a set that I have immediate in-game use for

Re: Minisgallery Snapshot Part 1

This is a fun idea, thank you! 1) Where are you from? The northeastern US 2) If I came to visit, where are we going? Niagara Falls is well worth seeing, and my FLGS moved into a huge space a year or so ago; it's cool to see. 3) Do you game on a weekly basis? Monthly? I end up playing 2-3 times per m...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Spiderdragon

I wish the proportions were a little less cartoonish – that neck and head are a bit big for the legs – but I'm liable to pick this up just for the reactions I can get from my group(s) :D

Re: What did you buy this week?

Just opened a Phandelver booster! I got an Ettin Cenomorph, a Halfling Zombie, a Stirge, and a Grimlock.

The Stirge looks great (though it's a bit larger than the other ones I have) and I'm prepping a zombie-themed one-shot, so I'm happy with the pulls (though I'm hoping for a Mound in the future)

Re: Maw of Sekolah - Is it Worth the Price

I'm very happy with the Maw, I'd say it's worthwhile! The mini is very well-made and can, I think, find its way into campaigns easily enough (provided there's an ocean or a portal to the Plane of Water around!)

What's unappealing about ice cream with chocolate on it? Looks good to me!

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms: Adventure in a Box - Red Dragon's Lair

I agree that a large base is more attractive -- paint issues aside, I have the F&T Red Dragon and don't need another huge one. A large, though, could definitely see the table. I'd be tempted to grab this box on sale, but not for 100 USD

I'd be happy to get one (or at most two) of the Cranium Rats, but the slot machine, well, not so much

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms - Bigby Presents: Glory of Giants (Set 27)

Guys... Guuuuyyyysss!!! It just clicked for me now as I am opening my case. Certain minis were selected for this set not as arbitrarily as you'd think. I mean, really? Badger-Mushroom-Snake.jpg A Badger, Mushroom and Snake all in the same set? That CANNOT be a coincidence. :D https://www.youtube.co...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms - Bigby Presents: Glory of Giants (Set 27)

Nice photos, interesting so the Hellion has a removable hand! Btw, did they change the inside of the boosters too for this one, same as the LE set? Are they no longer in bubble wrap and a plastic bubble, just paper bags? They are in bubble wrap and plastic, with the giants usually held into place w...

Re: What did you buy this week?

MM had a sale on Epic Encounters a couple weeks back so I grabbed:

- Hydra
- Dragon Turtle
- Island of the Crab Archon
- Serpentfolk
- Graveworm

All of the minis are great! I do wish the maps had a bit more variety (many are quite similar on both sides) but at 20ish bucks a box I'm happy

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms - Bigby Presents: Glory of Giants (Set 27)

I opened two boosters (and have six more in the wings); so far, I got the Stone Giant of Evil Earth, Goliath Giant-kin, Giant Lynx, and Hobogoblin (bow); Cloud Giant of Evil Air, Giant Badger, Orc, and Diliphosaurus
