We were super afraid it would be absolute poop, but it ended up looking, mostly, amazing. Some of the prints are not of the greatest quality but with a decent paintjob, any terrain can shine.

Apologies for the messy pic. We just unpacked everything and immediately organized it in the "Terrain to-be-painted" organization boxes!
The boats are awesome and they will go very well together with the D&L Porthaven ship (when it arrives, in the far... far... future...).
We got some market stalls to paint up and pair up with some other D&L ones we have.
The wagon with the cage was x3 times bigger than I thought it would be and I have 0 complaints about it. It immediately sparked some ideas for side quest encounters.
Other than that, we got some office bookcases and other things to compliment our own crafted ones (nothing beats the hand-rolled mini scrolls on a custom-made scrollcase, but still). Also some ruins to throw out on maps here and there and populate it nicely to give it more character. I wanted to have some different colors for different sets of ruins so that I can set different kinds of scenes.

Also, on another note; Auggies arrived!
And as always, very smooth delivery

(I was still having breakfast when the minis arrived, no judging please

Our opinions so far on the Return and Baldur's sets;
- Mizora could look a lot better for being such a rare promo. But then again, the character design is absolute meh to begin with. Classic attractive demon lady trope just doesn't do it for us.
- The emperor looks absolutely stunning. I thought the mini would be bigger, but it is absolutely perfect the way it is. Well done to whoever designed that mini.
- The chases are cool, but we still cannot justify paying anything more than a rare's value for one. We are already considering trading some of them if we see an opportunity to get other minis for them. Probably gonna wait to see if a friend or someone here wants them.
- The dragons all look great. Having seen the rare ones from the set, we are very happy we went with the uncommon ones instead. The red and blue ones were cool, but the older ones we have are cooler.
- Some Pathfinder minis are absolutely awesome. We still can't get over how peculiar and story-inspiring some of the designs are.
- New Frost Giant = 10/10
- The Baldur's goblins' faces are silly. They look like underpaid extras in a budget netflix series.
- We are so happy we got yet another awesome-looking Oni. I love using Oni so much in my campaign and having more unique sculpts is always extremely helpful!
- The Justiciar recolors are barely noticeable. We thought the "bling" would be very different on each variant but it's really not. Kind of cool since it means you can mix them together. At the same time, not so cool since it would be nice to have them look different on the battlefield for stat-keeping purposes.
- We were very happy to see that the little flaming fist insignia is barely visible on the soldiers. It looks kinda lame (to us) and we were hoping they would look more generic so that we can use them in city guard warband kind of situations.
- This is the first set where we were 100% sure about the amount of duplicates we got for each mini and we did not regret it at all when we saw them up close too.
We also got some cheap Board Game minis off ebay that we plan on painting with all sorts of weird colors for campaign purposes. Mostly purple (as usual) for some void-corrupted stuff. I am, very thankfully, at a point now where I have tons of void monstrosities to throw at my players!
