I'd try sanding down the broken surface on both the body and the neck, then try again. Hold it tightly together while the glue sets (I also blow on it) but if the glue is old, this can take time.

If that still fails, I can recommend 2-component epoxy putty. You can get this for household repair purposes in most "fixit" shops like here in Europe, Praktiker or Baumax/MömaX. I still use glue on both ends of the putty.

Super glue + baking soda makes a crazy strong bond too apparently. Also you could drill a little wire bit between the break and the neck though this might be over complicating things.

See the video bellow, they had the same issue and fixed:

Thanks for all the tips, I think investing in a small drill like the guys in the Ales and Fails video have might be worth it.

I have a Hill Giant Skeleton which is on the verge of breaking at the spine too.

I managed to glue the also super thin wing-bone of the Dragonbone Golem back (it was broken in package sadly) and it has stood the test of time since then despite being packed away. So the first try should be the glue. Keep in mind, most of these superglues start to lose their potency after being open for 2-4 months, depends on type, and luck.

I did that with this super rare (and expensive) TMNT figure I found cheap in a badly photographed lot... :P
The original owner glued it together with a glue gun and removing that unseemly lump was pretty hard too. I then used a scalpel and a very thin screwdriver to drill a hole, and an un-bent paperclip for the wire before glueing it together again.

(and no kidding, for some reason Quarry is such a late wave shortpacked release of the 2003 TMNT line that she goes for 450$ or so...)

Yes! That’s exactly what I meant – the bit makes the joint stronger. Would you ever touch up the paint on it BB? I’m not across TMNT but it seems it just needs some white & yellow paint over those scratches :)

Thanks! Yeah, I plan to touch up the paint, have done that to some of my old Transformers (like a battered G1 Wheeljack) as well. The only downside is the touched-up part would be visible up close usually.

I am that guy. It is kind of part of the whole admin job description, I'm afraid... ;)
I meant that you chose a "negative/ being snippy/making fun " comment. But i get your personality/humor, which is why i joked back with you a bit

Myraidtabletop chose diplomatic comment, which is why i thanked him.

I know... i was being lazy using this thread as general quality control. My bad... i know better than that.

As happy as I am with the sculpt and paint of the Return of the Dragons minis, my case had a lot of quality issues...

- 2 of the Onis came literally not glued to their base at all. I could not see any glue on the bases, just holes and a bit of blue paint. Luckily none of them broke rattling around the booster.
- Both the Young Blue and Young Gold Dragons arrived broken off their bases, the tip of the L-shaped peg broken into the bellies of the minis. I hate to say this but I would almost prefer the old ToD peg system to this... The new transparent poles are stronger sure, but the pegs that go into the mini seem weaker than the old half-cylinder solution. They could be glued back together thankfully.
-I am not sure if this is by design or someone forgot the glue again, but the Young Red Dragon was also off of his pole, the peg was not broken, it is not glued in either. Tends to fall off the peg so I will likely glue it there.
I noticed the Hellwasp in Vecna had the same issue.

Yeah, got a hellwasp in earlier this week with exactly that issue. Thankfully otherwise intact, because a very expensive mini!

Mine had a broken wing but 1 out of 4 wings is not so bad, and it could be fixed with glue. I heard others had more problems fixing the wings.
