Snowowl - That is good idea! The new Monster Manual has stats for Troll limbs, actually. You could put that arm on a small base!

Ooooo… I’ll have to hunt those stats down somewhere and back-convert them to 3.5.
I don’t know anyone w/ a 5.5 monster manual, though.

Edit: Seems I may have found the stats posted online. The 1/12 chance for it to become a new troll is just mean…

Bought a ton of Dreamblade minis from an US seller. Had been eyeing his auctions for a while as they were relatively cheap (but I had boosters on the way so did not wanna buy duplicates), but now he has discounted everything by 20%, and on top of that also added more % discounts on watched items.
Got such minis as Queen Chrysota, Bast's Handmaid, Darkheart Cottage, Bloodtusk Throne, Pearlthorn Dragon Knight, Fleshless Reaper, Stormrider Shaman, Heartsblood Temple, Yazrael, Slaughterwheel, Sir Glorious, and many other extra Commons and Uncommons. Also a few PFB minis for a friend, and transforming Rex and Buzz Lightyear figures for my friend Chris to whom I'll ship.

But boy, do I hate Ebay and its system. I could only accept offers and pay immediately, there is no more "wait for invoice" period. Meaning I had to pay about 4-5$ for each auction of 5-7$s, and then the seller had to refund the shipping costs separately too.
After a bit of trial and error I found that I can go to the offer, click "Check out", go back, "Add to Cart", and then I'd have the discounted price item AND the regular priced item in my cart, remove the more expensive one... and this way I could add them and pay only once. Still had to pay shipping costs for each, mind you, but did not have to log in every 2 minutes to Paypal. I do wish Ebay went back to the way offers and purchases worked even 4-5 years ago when this wasn't so bloody complicated...

I love the giant rat and the magma mephit minis, I just want a bunch of giant rats as minions to fight some low level characters.

I must have gotten one of the other bricks from your case

I always find it weird how with 15 rares in the set they can have distribution where one brick gets 5 and one gets 3. It would stand to reason that most would have 4.

**EDIT - I guess it's actually 14 rares which makes it even more odd...how do they assign a distribution where 36% of the rares go in one of the 4 bricks?

Stumbled upon these 3 War Trolls for an insane price (~$7 each) and snatched them up. I’ve only ever had 1 prior to this, because they were always around $20 when I was looking for more 10-15 years ago.



Fleshed out the order w/ a Harbinger troll and two forest trolls.

The War Drums War Troll is my favorite. Especially as a PC/NPC.

It always struck me as odd that a Troll would be as smart or civilized as to wear armor and use weapons instead of claws, but I cannot deny both this and the LE version look great.

agree War Trolls are to me are trolls that have captured or raised and trained to be guards or war machines in the melee art. For example, could be taunted or bought by horse or elf flesh and then over time giving armor in exchange and weapon training to guard a prison or help guard or transfer something for someone with money or power.

Love the Troll Limb stats stealing that to add to my OneNote Monster Manual as that could be fun! Old School fun!

I can see creatures that are stronger than Trolls and can keep them in check with threats of fire to be able to teach them to use weapons and train them. Fire Giants for example, or Ogre Magi.

I'm partial to the Pathfinder Troll Leader as it seems closest for me to represent the Middle Earth trolls that I use frequently in that setting.

So, had to go into the office today and on my way home I dropped by the nearby FLGS!
They have restocked on MK boosters, so I indulged my gambling addiction and bought some Nexus and Omens boosters, hoping for an elusive Unique or two. Got more duplicates but also some I wanted, like the unique Centaur archer lady Councillor Laurell, a cool Elf lord Geddion Longblade, and the Amazon Draconum repaint, Cindrata! Plus two Battle Mentors, Mummies and Spinesuckers.

But as I checked out the store I noticed what I thought was an expanded section. The seller told me that is part of the storage, but I spotted a big carton with Wizkids on it and asked if he could take it off the shelf for me. Turns out, it was full of Mage Knight tournament prices, limited edition stuff! I bought a few of these at these store years ago now they found more. I bought a Dark Riders small box plus a mount+rider box, and an unopened scenario pack (never seen it like this before), and two Minions LE packs!

The small box had Zamiel the Wise, a repaint of the carpet-riding Galeshi Sorcerer! I like that the cloud effect here is transparent.
The 2pack had an Elite Battle Horse, and Shale, an unique Dragon priest!

The tournament box had a spiffy certificate to say that I won this at a 2004 tournament, how time flies!sadly the three packs inside were less interesting, 2 Barrow Knight repaints calledBlackguards, and a unique lady called Fireflower!

There were some MK 2.0 tournament boxes left there too, I left those as I remembered them not being that good. The whole stuff was not even priced yet, but we settled on a fair price for rhe lot!
