Minis Waiting to be sold

Post by Gopesh1 »

Here are some bad pictures of miniatures I need to sell. Unless someone says, "hey I will pay you X for the whole lot"... in which case that would make my life a lot easier than organizing a bunch of small ebay sales.

I'm not done sorting miniatures, and I haven't counted up this total number of miniatures here.

I also apologize for terrible pictures.

So... anyone just got a flat offer? :) Or Am I chopping up for ebay sales?

Edit: There are no repeats. I noticed there are like 6 of the same OG minotaurs, but split into two different pictures.

I was trying to count, but one of your pictures is inserted twice? There were well over 200 before I got confused. Haven't had any coffee yet, so I might try again later.
This is too expensive.

Thank you for catching that, I deleted the repeat offenders and added the missing picture.

So anyway... Ebay lots? One big auction? How do I do this with minimal effort? :)

I'm not sure what you deleted, but the first and sixth pics are identical, same file name. Excluding that duplication, I count about 341 minis, give or take. Do the older ones have their cards?

Edit: Oops, missed something in cross-posting...scratch that...

So, to answer your questions, first I doubt you'll get a flat offer here, but maybe. Once I counted more than 200 I realized I'm not going to be able to make one at this time, sadly. Depending on how quickly you want to sell, eBay is a good option, but I would say to maybe break it down into more digestible (and easier to ship) lots of 100 or so. Set a BIN of whatever you want and wait as long as it takes, or open them up to bids if you don't want to wait more than a week. If you just want rid of them ASAP, nothing is less effort than donating them if you have a Goodwill or the like nearby.

Alternatively, there are numerous Facebook groups where you could try to sell them. I have little experience there, but it doesn't look like a great deal of effort is required.

If you ebay them, after you divide them into lots, box and weigh them. Do not estimate. I couldn't tell you how many times my wife lost money because she wasn't being accurate in her listings.

I just saved a ton of money by switching to a purchasing freeze. Currently on track to keep my wife and be spoiled again later.

I am the same as your wife then. I have no idea how package shipping works. There are like express and parcel and premium and priority and sizes and weights and distances... And I don't even have any spare boxes around.

Its my #1 reason I hate selling on ebay. I think I would just be happy getting those flat rate boxes from the post office and stuff them full of minis and styrofoam.

- Also previous question, no cards for minis. Cards got tossed about 10 years ago when moving and decided that "No one ever uses these things".

Curious about this too. I would say generally the card helps keep the value but in the era of WizKids having no skirmish game, I doubt it matters much for a common kind of buyer who has no interest in the DDM game.
