Re: Murder Hornets
Those will be nice. I kinda want to preorder some, but I don’t know if I really want to give GameNerdz any more of my business. Still waiting on them to ship an order I made 19 days ago…
Re: Murder Hornets
We're not allowed to call them that anymore. Scientists said so.
This is too expensive.
Re: Murder Hornets
It’s going to hurt the old wallet, but I’ll probably pick up eight packs of these when they come out….

Is it a miniature if it is size accurate? Asking for someone who is living with Murder Hornets in the area. Me. I am asking for me.
Re: Murder Hornets
My wife wondered the same thing about "giant" spiders and carrion crawlers.
This is too expensive.

Re: Murder Hornets
Realiatures? Or since we’re mostly talking about pests here, creepiatures?
Disclamer: I prefer black bases, and as such have painted many clear bases black. Pictures of my collection will reflect this, varying from the original way the mini was produced.

Re: Murder Hornets
Actually saw a video of someone using real life hornets(dead) as D&D minis once. Don't remember the channel, though. And honestly, didn't much care for it, personally.
Re: Murder Hornets
As someone still healing from an encounter with ground bees last weekend, I find this idea to have merit.
This is too expensive.

I think this should be in the Unpainted section.
Also, cannot resist, sorry.

I've always been quietly amused here in Australia just how popular spider minis are - especially the ones which are smaller than the real life spiders here - the Giant Wolf Spider mini for example on a medium base - well the young ones in reality would fit a large base - and every year I have to catch and release at least one or two that would comfortably fit a huge base when they are roaming about looking for a mate and decide to come inside.
I run RPG Mini Hunter - an Australian based Singles store.
Re: Murder Hornets
Yep. While we have our share of bugs around here that can mess you up, there's no competition with what lurks over your way. But specifically the giant spider from the polymorph set closely resembles one of our common species, a water spider. When I was a kid I saw a specimen in the creek I played in that would easily have covered a tea saucer. The carrion crawler reminds my wife too much of the spider-hunting centipedes that live in our basement, the only living thing that still triggers a phobia after years of living with me. And though I didn't get a real good look at what stung my ankles last weekend, if they come after me again when I mow today they may find themselves pinned and preserved in time for our next session.idmonfish wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 8:01 amI've always been quietly amused here in Australia just how popular spider minis are - especially the ones which are smaller than the real life spiders here - the Giant Wolf Spider mini for example on a medium base - well the young ones in reality would fit a large base - and every year I have to catch and release at least one or two that would comfortably fit a huge base when they are roaming about looking for a mate and decide to come inside.
