Hello again! This will be my last post for modified minis for a bit. Want to avoid being a post hog….and I need to make more modified minis.
I bought 3 pairs of bugbears—6 total—so I could have a small bugbear band. I thought the ones I bought were decent, but they lacked a little 1st Ed D&D flavor. Couldn’t put my finger on it until I noticed the noses don’t look very 1e bugbear-ish, so I gave them all green stuff nose jobs.

Minis! Not talking donuts, skirts, or busses--just pure plastic (and pewter) joy, dude.

Re: Bulbous-nosed bugbears
You've perfectly captured me during allergy season (half-truth: allergy season is year round). Great use of a very tiny amount of green stuff to do exactly what you need and repaint it in a way that makes it look even better. Very impressive.
This is too expensive.
Re: Bulbous-nosed bugbears
That is a really cool mod, especially since a lot of the bugbear and hobgoblin sculpts can loo similar. How did you get the Green stuff to stick (or were they unpainted)?
Re: Bulbous-nosed bugbears
Green stuff sticks to painted and unpainted surfaces. You can even superglue it in place.
Great job on the bugbears! As said, those now look like proper old school bugbears.
