That’s a lot of duplicate stuff. I wonder what the price point would be. I think I’d want the dragon egg clutch the most. I really don’t need another Huge Red Dragon at this point, but at least it is a new sculpt.
Disclamer: I prefer black bases, and as such have painted many clear bases black. Pictures of my collection will reflect this, varying from the original way the mini was produced.

I've updated the original post to list the price. Silly of me to forget that when it's the second most notable thing about the set, right after all the duplicates.

Really cool set. Twice the price it ought to be.

It looks to be a large Red Dragon.

One unique huge dragon (priced on par with Fizban Super Boosters at $39.99), most of a Kobold Warband ($44.99) offset with terrain pieces, and a huge 14 square feet of durable, versatile maps to make up the final value.

Price is fine. Not a particularly great value, but absolutely on par with similar retail MSRP products.

I'll be moving to sell off my Fangs & Talons Young Red Dragon and duplicate Kobolds well in advance of this release. If anyone wants a good deal, drop me a line. I'm totally keen on the upgrade.
Periodically adding miniatures and terrain to my Sales thread.
Updated: July 17th Final Clearance; Icons Singles; Onslaught Expansions; few Professionally Painted pieces.

I highly disagree.

The kobolds have been purchased by people already and are often found on discount.
The kobolds and the columns are re-releases, not exclusive to this set.
The Huge Rares from booster boxes are purchased for 39.99 on a secondary market and price inflated.
This is a mixed band of products, and normally a mixed grab-bag of products come at a discount, not at a premium price for each component.

This is a huge rare for 39.99. You would expect to just nab your huge rare for 39.99. But instead, this dragon is towing several non-premium products that can be found on discount and expecting to pull premium prices on each and every item in the package.

They sure do seem to be reusing lots of old minis in new releases.

It's why I qualified it as compared to MSRP. Whether it's the Treant, or Lolth, there are more than enough, non-booster Huge figures that are $40-50 MSRP. You can't also compare any figure that you can "get on discount" as a means to generate MSRP prices for new product. That's just silly. And whether or not they're new sculpts for the kobolds is also irrelevant.

$40-50 for an Onslaught sized Young Red Dragon, Five Kobolds prorated from the Warband would be $24.99, $14.99 for 8 additional pieces of prepained terrain is a bargain, and the final amount on some really nice maps with huge coverage.

I'm not saying it isn't expensive, or that a thirfty shopper couldn't save by shipping around, but its squarely within Wizkids retail window. From that perspective it's perfectly fair value for the average DM who looks around at comparably priced Wizkids products at their FLGS store, and who would spend a sumilar amount by trying to build the contents from assorted Premium figures and Nolzurs. That we're Collectors who only want the dragon is an -us- problem.

Wow, I love the pose on this, many people have been asking for a non-flying Dragon, and here it is!
The eggs look nice - extra interesting if they will be in scale with the Fizban's Egg Hunter Adult!
To me it seems the Kobold Dragonshield is a re-pose of the one from the Warband. The others are the same.

I think once discounts start hitting, this can go down to 80-75$ (and maybe we get an "Adventures in a Box Bundle" at 50% too, who knows! :D) and given the insane prices of Huge Dragons, especially Chromatics, I think it is not a bad one.
As a reminder, the last Huge Red Dragon, Ignia from the Kansaldi set, costs 90$ MSRP and the cheapest I have seen that one was 64$. Before that, we have the F&T Young Red Dragon, and that one tends to be 35$, but that mini (and the Young Blue Dragon and the Mindwitness) are famously very badly painted (as in, they are lacking several paint steps, with the Red, only the forearms have actual red paint, the rest of the mini is red plastic).
If we go back in time to older Huge Red Dragons, the Against the Giants Elder Red Dragon goes for 45-50$, and the Giants of Legend Huge Red Dragon... WOW I wanted to say 60-70$ but it seems time and the abundance of Huge Red Dragon minis has not been kinds to the old DDM's worth...

Yeah, sold for 18$!!! This was a lucky stroke though - most others I have found went for 40-45$.

At any rate, this new one also comes with a lot of terrain, hoard, eggs, 5 Kobolds (even though 4 of those are re-releases I can always use more worker pickaxe wielding Kobolds, Urds (Winged Kobolds) and that crossbow dude is one of the best from the Warband) - and costs only 10$ more than Kansaldi did. Not counting also the maps, which if you are a display guy like me, you can just sell to an RPG gamer.
Given that Kansaldi went down to 64$ from 90$ in some shops, we can expect this to go as low as 75$ too.

I don't have my spreadsheet handy. Which Kobold is the new sculpt. They all sort of bleed together after a while.

I thought at first the Dragonshield was new because he was holding the spear differently.

But now I looked up the mini (he is standing guard next to my Gargantuan Tiamat) and I realized it is the same render, but it was mirrored.
There is one change, though, all the Kobolds have black loinclothes (and in the case of the Dragonshield, hood and shirt) now instead of brown.

No, it is Huge - look at the Small bases of the Kobolds next to it.

Ooof. Now this is totally a want for me to get!

I can never get enough red dragon content and this is perfect to help add more kobolds to their numbers and a new red dragon to my collection!

The stalagmites and pillars look like the ones from the old set with the Elder Brain, but coloured differently.
