Reach out to them, BB. I don't think it could hurt to ask. It seems the new guy is really trying to get things up to speed.

I actually kept forgetting about this claim that I filed over a year ago, but finally sent a followup email this week. I received a reply within hours. I'm astonished. Only the legendary Rose from WK's early days was so responsive. And, after an exchange this morning, he says he'll have my replacement in the mail this week. After the way things have been with their CS for the last...15+ years, I'm hesitant to believe it, but the speed of communication alone is such a vast and hopeful improvement.

This is the kind of service that will get me to quit griping about Wizkids' bloated SRP's.
Wow, took you a year to get a response? Harsh! But at least they are finally replacing it!

Huh, the revival of this topic just reminded me I hadn't heard any thing about my Aspect of Tiamat replacement.

I was told a week or two but I think it's been closer to three months now. I better get on to emailing them again.

Edit: Actually closer to four months.

Yes, I emailed back tot hat and they responded within a day.

Seems the request for my replacement slipped through the cracks and they've shot off another request to get it replaced.

Will update once I hear more.

They finally came through. No joke, this guy was swaddled in the most bubble wrap I've ever seen for a single mini.

He needs the bubble wrap, I just stored mine away and I also wrapped him up tight! My friend who shipped him to me did not do so, and several spikes broke off... luckily was able to glue most of them back.

Wizkids replied back to me, apologizing for the delay. The Batiri Battle Stack was a limited stock item so they asked for my understanding until they can locate some leftover stock and send a replacement. Fingers crossed it succeeds!

I sent a box with a beheaded Shadow Gold Dragon (Rage of Demons set) about a month ago and still haven't received any updates. Should I do something about it you think?

I honestly do not expect much other than having lost my money on sending it out for a replacement (since sending from Europe means it'll take forever to arrive), but I figured could be well worth a try.

It'd be worth sending an email with your request number. That one being old stock might be harder for them to replace.
This is too expensive.

Did you contact them beforehand? Did they ask you to send back the mini? For me, in both of my replacement cases with Wizkids, and my other one with Thiemtwork, I never had to send back the damaged mini, a photo was all the proof they needed.

That’s just unacceptable by any metric. I’d be asking for a full refund, along with my miniature.

I'll give them a pass this instance on two factors from what they told me; the entire replacement department about the time I submited the original request was replaced (ironically) and the previous team left all the previous stuff in shambles, so the current team has been doing their best to try and fix the issues.
Then the original request at the start of the year was lost somewhere in transistion, so both teams believed it had been done, when it hadn't actually.

Also, it was bought from Miniature Market back then, so any refund would have to have gone through them, not Wizkids.

Sure, the time frame was frustrating, but having worked in retail and seeing how these things can just fall apart like that, I am willing to give them a bit of a pass given circumstances in this situation.

In any other normal case though, probably not.

If you followed the instructions on the website's automated replacement details, then you just gotta wait a bit, but you should be fine.

If you hear nothing after a few months, give them a poke then.
