Approved Class Tags
Class tags are intended to be used for sentient, humanoid creatures that would typically be player characters or non-player characters.

Re: Approved Class Tags
I 'm not certain if there is a need for a crossbow specialist type of character class as there really just are not that many miniatures using crossbows (sadly), and I think just searching for "crossbow" for equipment would suffice. Although a search for "bow" would also produce similar results for bow users, however there are a lot of humanoid minis made that fit the "archer" label, so I thought that would warrant these minis to have their own tag.

Disclamer: I prefer black bases, and as such have painted many clear bases black. Pictures of my collection will reflect this, varying from the original way the mini was produced.

In my opinion "thugs" can be a little too generic I think and really could apply to many rogues and fighters.berk the black wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 1:28 pm Some ways I sort my humanoids

The "pirate look" is pretty iconic and I think could be captured as a class tag. I think a "sailor" class tag would also be useful, and would also apply to any mini with the pirate tag. Both of these minis would also get the "nautical" theme tag.
I would like to use a either a class tag or a theme tag to describe city watch/guards/soldiers, but I am not sure what the best tag name would be. Any ideas? Maybe "soldiers" is generic enough to describe them all?

Re: Approved Class Tags
A couple members have recommend "npc" as a tag, but I think this is far too generic and could apply to most every humanoid character. The same would apply to "pc" as well. I think generally if someone is searching for a pc or npc mini, they already have a class and or race in mind, and those tags would likely produce far more useful results.

Actually, I think you are right, those terms are probably too generic. While I have cases label soldiers or guards, they are useful to me because I have built out warbands of matching and duplicated minis that could represent an army of police force. The individual minis were chosen for how the match and synergies with the others in the group. Labeling them individually as soldiers or guards isn’t probably that useful.Kor wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 4:55 pmIn my opinion "thugs" can be a little too generic I think and really could apply to many rogues and fighters.berk the black wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 1:28 pm Some ways I sort my humanoids

How about Gladiator?
I have serveral minis that I'd classify as gladiators. Some Heroscape ones come to mind immediately.

Re: Approved Class Tags
This one might be a pain, but...what about "wild shape?" One of my players just rolled up a druid and I'm scrambling for wild shape miniatures. Being able to search for that tag on this site would make life much easier.
