A huge size mini that goes great w Brinewind is the Shipwreck Revenant ($20-25)
Another mini that I enjoyed painting is the grave golem ($10) Here’s my version:

I didn’t get a chance at bones 5 when it launched, but I did 5.5 for all my stuff. It was great until they screwed up so many of the orders being shipped out. I just didn’t get my core set and a couple of other pieces while others didn’t receive ships. Thankfully, I got both of my ships, but I’m still made about the core set. I would have been furious if I lost out on both ships.

Yeah, heard about that stuff, not fun. Sorry you had to experience that.
I didn't pledge for 5.5 myself, but I really wanted to, as they included a handful of items from Bones 4 I really wanted that hadn't gone to retail. At least some of those have become available since then.

Yeah 5.5 went sideways (I also was not part of that as I spent enough on Bones V)Guyra wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 4:34 amYeah, heard about that stuff, not fun. Sorry you had to experience that.

I feel also with the death of one of the main contributors to the team Bones VI kind of did not have the same drive plus it's hard to compete with Bones V selection. I personally found even Bones IV better than VI. (I think I started with VI)
One thing that did stop me from buying Reaper as much is they change all rules on free shipping on the online store.
At one time there was a nice like $100 free shipping to Canada (it may have been $120 but it was available) and now that that is gone. That change kind of pissed me off to be honest.
That Grave Golem has been on my Wishlist for sometime... its large right?
I also love these golems from Reaper and they added a nice niche in my collection

Yeah. If I remember correctly, Ed had been ill throughout the actual campaign, and passed away roughly half a year after the KS was over. So he probably wasn't involved as much as he normally would've been. I kind of want to get the "memorial miniature" of Ed that Darksword Miniatures sculpted and gave to Reaper:

100%. Even though IMO KS6 paled in comparison to KS5, it still offers exceptional value by any other standard. I'm in for $500 and am getting around 500 individual miniatures and pieces of terrain, many of them very large. And I know the quality will be there. Reaper KSs remain the best deal going.
Edit: Except maybe D&L.

Lots of excellent suggestions thus far. On the terrain front, I’ll also mention Dragons Don’t Share 2, which had been out of production for a LOOOONG time, and reaper wasn’t going to make again, but I and others hounded them enough on reaper live to convince them to do another production run of it. I have 2 copies.
Re: Reaper Bones Bestist Ever Recomendations
Yeah, that set looks cool. I only have the dragon from it, as it was made available on its own in Bones 5. It's a big one!
Re: Reaper Bones Bestist Ever Recomendations
So got my new order...
Some reason my Reaper figs a number of them needed some serious clean up (first time ever!) the small dragon was a disaster like really messy with print strings all over it! Zombies was minor like on the bottom and around the heads... not sure what happened there at Reaper... but to add to list of nice minis!
The Dire Jellyfish is amazing ... so amazing I am afraid to choose the wrong colors for it when I use contrast paint. Will be getting a few more!
The new Minotaur also a very sweet mini! Love the big belly on him!
And the new Tortle is big and bad ass for a nice barbarian tortle... cannot wait.
Second recommendation is the kobolds... this set has a few females and even one which I did not know until I had it in my hands has a baby hiding behind it! Super Set!

Oh wow, I never noticed that small kobold child either! (Haven't painted my copy yet, though. But have definitely looked at it!)
