Following the hidden cavern passage to secret entrance in the throne room. They discovered the Sea Elven kingdom was completely overrun with Sahuagin led by the Sea King Bach’Zarisaa and Queen Tavashj.
The party Leroy Jenkins’d their way into the throne room and found out how deadly Bach’Zarisaa was with his glaive. The half octopus/half Sahuagin monster used lightning quick reflexes and his many tentacles to lash out from all angles.
The ground rumbled and the arcane braziers flickered as if the power was being drained and used elsewhere. The group was only here to stop the sea devils from returning a titan of old to Exandria. They gathered that the ritual had begun and so they tried to rally to deal with the king and his cronies, but time was running out.
Eventually killing the the king, it took its toll on them. Nearly all of their resources were expended and the Queen Tavashj rose from a chamber attached to the royal vault. The party quickly sealed the door in front of her using the magical trident that Bach’Zarisaa. She used telepathy to enter their minds and pronounced that A’Tem would soon be released and they only had moments to escape with their lives. This door would not hold her for long.
So a chase scene took place with the party eventually shutting down the shield generator and allowing teleportation to take them to Port Damali, but at what cost? A Primordial Titan of old sealed away during the calamity has been unleashed…
The summoning ritual map was not used but I still wanted to show it off. Overall fun couple of maps and some extremely close calls, rolling two Nat 1s on charisma saves for the queen to teleport out of the magically sealed room allowing the party the head start they desperately needed.

Re: Romuloxx’s Home Games
Finally back behind the screen after taking time off for my second born child.
The party was investigating missing Arcanists in Port Damali, suspecting a group of fanatics called the Crimson Collective who preach against the use of arcane magic and blame the catastrophic problems in the ocean on the “perversion” that is the study of the arcane.
They tracked them through a labyrinth of sewers and stumbled upon a ruined temple long from long ago buried underneath the city.
Can they defeat these cultists or will they be branded as heretics?

Re: Romuloxx’s Home Games
I wanted to test out the wizkids bridge with dwarven forge terrain and made a Trolls under the bridge encounter.
The trolls broke the chains that were blocking the path and used them hoist themselves up and over the bridge to get their full number on the bridge to face their prey.

Re: Romuloxx’s Home Games
The party had found the headquarters of the Prime Collective on the Menagerie Coast, a group of religious fanatics who detested Arcane magic, calling it a perversion of the God’s gifts to Exandria.
A wooden fort fortified by 35 ft walls, 65 ft guard towers and a looming centralized stone tower were nestled in between rocky escarpments that provided some natural defences.
While the edge of the forest clearing was 200 or so feet to the wall, they needed to devise some sort of distraction and ran into some old acquaintances who were able to provide some distraction up front while they teleported in and caused chaos at the gate.
While the fort was heavily armed, fireballs decimated the wooden walls and towers while incinerating the helpless guards who manned the palisades. As they made their way to the stone tower to try and free the imprisoned arcanists, a one-time ally walked down the stone stairs clad ornate golden plate armor carrying a massive glaive over his shoulder.
*there will be more to this encounter as the stone tower has some elite guards and several other levels to go with it including where the prisoners are being held*

Re: Romuloxx’s Home Games
With most of the high ranking officers dealt with, the party entered the tower searching for the prisoners. Dashing up the tower, there were no captives to be found and so they searched under the large rug at the entrance to find a trap door which hid the entrance to a room 50ft below where they stood.
They found empty bedding and eventually the horrific chamber in which the prisoners were being held. Filled with devices of death and the smell of blood, the focal point was a large green glass tube at the end of a chamber with cables running electricity from a generator above. Crackles of lightning were continuous as they jolted down the cables both to the green glass tube, but also to a pair of crudely designed constructs embedded in the wall. Standing on a raised dais with a set of pliers and a scalpel in hand, this woman dressed in bloodstained clothes looked up at them and smiled.

Re: Romuloxx’s Home Games
Very nice narrative setting the mood for me looking at your awesome set-ups. Very well done and I'm sure your game table is a blast. I like the way you used the diagonal walls connecting 2 very different areas. Thanks for sharing.
