Well, this is a first, a mini that was not yet revealed coming out for paint night!
Hopefully we will get this guy prepainted too, he looks great.

That’s a good one. I never picked up the Pathfinder one, the old DDM one shows it age, and I don’t need 6 identical Reaper ones. Hopefully this means Nolzur’s wave 19 (20?) is around the corner

Great choice for a paint night miniature. It's a coveted creature, which will incentivize folks who might not normally be into painting. And those dark tones are really easy to paint, so even without a ton of experience you should get a good looking miniature. As a bonus, he looks very much like an enlarged version of the Wave 18 male Duergar.

Looks far better than the PFB one, which suffers from weird proportions like a too large head. I particularly love the "meat tenderizer" look of the maul he wields.
Crazy thought but I wonder if the prepainted one is in Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse (MPMM?) - that set has a lot of Duergar.
