Awwwww yeeeessss!!!
This means we ARE getting Archons back, as in the proper Celestial Lawful Good Archons.
And nice to see the Bariaur is not undersized like those terrible Theros Centaurs.
Man that Doomguard will look great next to the old WotC ones with the mancatcher.
Shemeshka's bodyguard not only confirms she is gonna be in the set too (I am pretty sure) but it is a nice bit of lore - Ilsenine is known to loan out Eaters of Knowledge to lower planar creatures.
And if the paint will be like this on the Monodrone, quite an improvement over the ToA one. Also, another nice bit of lore with the painted wings! Normal berks tend to paint up Modrons to make telling them apart easier - the Modrons will not remove the paint unless instructed so by superiors.
I am super excited for this set. Might even gonna buy the special release set because of the exclusive mini and the paint variants. I would want multiple Warden Archons, Doomguards and Bariaurs anyway, and nice to have a unique Monodrone.

The other related sets are not yet posted, but the retailer link does reference these sets:
96290 - D&D Icons of the Realms: Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse - 8 ct. Booster Brick (Set 30)
96292 - D&D Icons of the Realms: Whirlwyrm - Boxed Miniature
96295 - D&D Icons of the Realms: Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse - Character Miniatures Boxed Set (Set 30)
Huh, interesting. This confirms though that the Lady of Pain, if she gets a mini (and why would she not) is likely going to be a Rare in the main set. I do wonder what the heck a Whirlwyrm is, probably related to the adventure.
I am super happy they made a Character set - Sigil has soooo many notable NPCs, I am glad we are getting them separately, the more the merrier.

Yay for the Monodrone, Bariaur, and Archon!
Meh for the Doomguard. I take that back. If I can get a few packs of the fairy wings from Reaper, these could have some use in my homebrew.
Boooo, if we don’t get a normal Eater of Knowledge. Tracksuits should never be allowed in D&D…otherwise I’m glad this thing is the exclusive mini. I’m sure someone at Wizards really liked this concept.
I should think we will get a normal Eater of Knowledge too in the regular set. Given that Shemeshka (similar to the Penguin in DC comics) runs a "respectable establishment", I can understand why she would want to dress the giant lumps of brain matter in some finery so they do not drool and ooze stuff everywhere they go.
Btw what's wrong with the Doomguard? That's what their armor always looked like. I like how close it is to the old DiTerlizzi style.

Will Set 29 and Set 30 both come out in November?
Idk what these release dates are supposed to be. I can't imagine they squeeze them both in. That'd be 3 sets in 4-5 months. That feels like shooting yourself in the foot on sales. People will likely be more selective than just waiting an extra month or two.
Last year I am pretty sure we had the same listings for the 2 sets that were out then, and then one got delayed by 1-2 months or more. Pretty sure this will be the case now as well. At any rate, I will likely only be interested in singles or a brick from Phandelver, anyway.

The Modrons have landed! The Modrons have landed! I can't wait for a list of miniatures... really. It'll tell me if I need to hunt down those older F&T Tridrones and MM3 Quadrones or not.
If Wizkids has been listening to us, here, then we will get a Common or Uncommon Tridrone in this one. If it will be a Rare again like the Harpy or Aarakocra, then I am gonna be really disappointed...
