Super sweet! I am only slightly dissapointed that we got our first duplicate in this series, but I’ll forgive it because I really like owlbears!

Great set. I really like these classic minis. But I am fine to wait and buy it as a sale bundle.

As the otyugh guy I will say that I absolutely love the otyugh! It’s so cute looking. I was really sad when the N set didn’t have a neo-otyugh

The rest are ok. Nothing too bad but nothing too great. Roper is pretty nice.

Okay, I personally think this is the best of the alphabetical classic monsters sets thus far!

The Roper and the Owlbear are the ones I like the least, but they're not bad. The Owlbear is very close to the one in the Classic Creatures set, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But the Roper just reminds me of the Thumb movies...

I absolutely love the Rakshasa and the Rust Monster, though! :D The Pseudodragon, Quasit, Rhemoraz, and Otyugh are also all really nice looking, and I'd love to have them.

These are of course just 3D renders, so it remains to be seen how good they actually end up being. But I definitely like this set based on the renders.

Won't buy it at the $99 price tag, though. But I'd definitely buy it at around half the price.

I was just going to say how awesome the Phandelver Roper is. I think it is the best, even over this old school version.
Disclamer: I prefer black bases, and as such have painted many clear bases black. Pictures of my collection will reflect this, varying from the original way the mini was produced.

I hate the dorky lamprey mouth on the Phandelver version. I really like the Rage of Demons version and hopefully the classic real life figure is close to the 3D render.

Did the 1e/2e Rakshasa not have backward hands as the current ones do?

And for ALL the whining about the Spider Dragon, there's not one comment about this Ropers unibrow? I sure as heck know which would get the guffaws at my table lol.

Somehow, I'm getting the impression different groups of people doing minis aren't talking to each other.

Another Roper? Really??? Seriously guys at WotC/WK....you could (should) have done better with the R. There is literally no reason to create another Roper. You do realize these can be had on the secondary market for like $9 right? Then you go and create another one in a rare slot which just drags down the value of a case of Phandelver. Now you stick one in the Classic O-R set? That means this roper mini is valued by you at ~$20! What are you guys smoking?

The Remorhaz and Rust Monster are winners. Need to see the Quasit/Pseudo-dragon closer to have a real opinion. Hopefully I can get one of these on the singles market for a reasonable value. But I doubt it.

The others are blah.

I think it might be time to have a state of the union thread on PPM in 2024. I was thinking about starting one yesterday. This set just makes me want to do it even more.

I liked the sculpt for the Rage of Demons Roper, but the red used on it was too bright. I like this Phandelver vrersions coloring so much better.

And yes, I’m missing the Against the Giants version, so no comparison shot with it.

I'm just a toy nerd loving the irony of the fact that a miniature in a $100 set is a replica of what was once a 10¢ Chinasaur.
This is too expensive.

This is a nice set! Maybe it's the angle of the picture but the owlbear's beak looks odd. Love the Otyugh and Remorhaz.

This is a very nice set even if I have every monster included at least 1x. As much as I want to dislike the new owlbear sculpt I can't. I find it pretty impressive and a step up from what owlbears appeared like in previous mini releases. I'm always open to a new Rakshasa mini! Awesome race of creatures and we need many more released.

Not that I need another Otyugh but this one looks phenomenal! The others are simply OK in my mind.
