Re: Wave 23 - Nolzur's Deep Cuts, Critical Role, Wizkids
Nolzur's continues to follow its new approach of issuing nothing but sculpts identical to minis previously released as Icons. It's a sadness.

Well, the Martial Arts Master is new, as are the Magmins, and maybe some of the CR ones too but yeah, mostly the same as the prepainted ones.

Re: Wave 23 - Nolzur's Deep Cuts, Critical Role, Wizkids
Awesome still for.me on some cases.
If the sculpt is cheaper than the painted version I'm in. As in I do not pay alot normally for ppm unless it's a must have. $10 for medium is too much for me unless I must have it.
Looking at u my blue devil.
The sea devil priestess I do not have so I will paint her gold yellow like they are suppose to be.
The monk is cool and the druid was.always over priced... so.another win for me.
Bear zombie hey why not if the price is right.

I want that zombie bear! But are they still refusing to include bases?

Do we know if these have skateboard bases? The renders really suggest that they may not, and that's cause for a lot of hope for me.
Periodically adding miniatures and terrain to my Sales thread.

I thought they stopped those for a while ago, no? Or they are included but optional?
The Classic 1E minis are pretty good this way too, certainly cheaper than the 80$ sets.
Huh I forgot Sahuagin priestesses were gold and yellow... was that in the Ecology of the Sea Devil?Yack wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 6:18 pm Awesome still for.me on some cases.

They do it was confirmed in another unapinted thread .MyriadTabletop wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 1:00 am Do we know if these have skateboard bases? The renders really suggest that they may not, and that's cause for a lot of hope for me.
skateboards to glue to the bases that do not come with minis.
But still cheaper than ppm in some cases. (plus I do not dislike skateboards, reaper. next level all have them)

ICv2 has an article with some different pics

I write at Blizzardwatch.com to afford all these minis. Officially boycotting WizKids until Three Kobolds in a Trenchcoat is released to the general public.

Re: Wave 23 - Nolzur's Deep Cuts, Critical Role, Wizkids
Teal packs are PCs
Yellow packs are NPCs
That seems a tad subjective. I use both types as NPCs as a DM. And I’m sure a few players might want an NPC type mini for their character.
Disclamer: I prefer black bases, and as such have painted many clear bases black. Pictures of my collection will reflect this, varying from the original way the mini was produced.
Re: Wave 23 - Nolzur's Deep Cuts, Critical Role, Wizkids
Right? Plus, since they all come primered in statue white, every single one of them is effectively terrain.
This is too expensive.
Re: Wave 23 - Nolzur's Deep Cuts, Critical Role, Wizkids
Only really interested in the Martial Arts Master from this new wave of minis. Don't need the archdruid though, so I'll likely skip, since I have a couple other reasonable elven monks already. That's fine. I've not been able to paint much in the past year, so my backlog is huge.

Re: Wave 23 - Nolzur's Deep Cuts, Critical Role, Wizkids
This is true for most of the items, but not for the last one, "WizKids Critical Role Unpainted Miniatures: Fearne Calloway & Mister". I think that's new, or at least it's up for pre-order through WizKids, among other Bells Hells characters from Critical Role Campaign 3: https://shop.wizkids.com/collections/pr ... -ascendingBrophy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 6:38 amThose are from wave 3 of CR from 2021BBShockwave wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 4:11 pm I am pretty sure these are new,

Anyhow, many thanks to BB for the pictures and information. This set doesn't do much for me (I have a case of Seas & Shores), but I recommend most of those sculpts.
