WizKids announced Adventures from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 3 - Character Set, for D&D Icons of the Realms, which will hit retail in February 2025.

The new Adventures from Baldur's Gate set has 40 new miniatures to collect. These miniatures feature randomly sorted fan favorite monsters and characters from the Baldur's Gate 3 video game. Each booster come with a Large miniature and 3 Medium or Small miniatures, and boosters are also sold in the Booster Brick configuration (eight-count bricks of boosters). Single boosters retail for $24.99 and Bricks will retail for $199.92.

Alongside the set release, there will also be a Baldur's Gate Set 3 - Character Boxed Set on the way to shops. It comes with seven iconic characters from the video game, which are pre-painted. It will retail for $49.99.

What’s the blue effect on the Shambling Mound?

There are actually a lot of characters I’d use as NPCs in this set, but that is probably because I haven’t played Baulder’s Gate and don’t see an association to the game in them.

The Bull and the Worg are useful minis, too.

The side of the box confirm Jahira, Dame Aylin and Yurgir as well for the set.

Gotta have some interesting monsters and a lot more characters it seems (though said characters can be substituted for their base monsters.

Definately gonna pick up a Hollyphant at least though. That's a PPM I've wanted since Descent into Avernus and always felt like a strange obmission.

It's a shadow cursed one. It lives in the shadow cursed lands portion of the game so infused with power from the Shadowfell.

BG3 characters will sell like hotcakes, I don't doubt.

And yesterday I literally posted in the PPM Wishlist thread about how I would like some more Descent Into Avernus minis - and sure enough here we can see a Hollyphant, a Flaming Fist and the followers of the Dead Three!

I bet they will be premium compared to, at least, commons and uncommons from the regular set.

I actually mostly just use character minis from these visible sets now because of the higher quality.

Ohhhhh my God. This is going to be a HUGE set. I can't tell you how many people I know that are obsessed with BG3.

I also wonder if the Spectator is going to be huge-sized. They're super-sized in the battle against them - which I'm cool with - but I have a feeling some purists wouldn't appreciate an upsize in the miniature.

It is a creature called the Slayer, a form that can be taken by the most dedicated servants of Bhaal.

Orin the Red, one of the main villains, is able to take on a Slayer form - as is the Dark Urge, one of the player Origin characters, if they choose to side with Bhaal. I believe the Slayer Form also appeared in the earlier BG games.
