Most of these appear to be specific to Strixhaven which is one of the new settings announced.
Killian, Zimone, and the Kenrith twins are human wizards
A mage hunter is a huge aberration also from strixhaven. Much like the skittering horror that was just made.
Omnath is a huge elemental.
Prismari is a new dragon that is from Strixhaven Quintorious is a Loxodon archeologist/artificer A Wild Nacatl is a catfolk barbarian Rootha is an orc wizard Dina is a dryad Druid

Huh, that's weird, I thought we already discussed these. I did preorder the Dryad 2-patch and Galazeth from GN using the info from https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Magic_Unpainted_Miniatures
Wish ICv2 had pics, though.

I write at Blizzardwatch.com to afford all these minis. Officially boycotting WizKids until Three Kobolds in a Trenchcoat is released to the general public.

Gallant Goblin has an unboxing video of the Wave 15, so now we can see how Galazeth will look

(They'll probably have future videos spending more time showing off the individual lines)

Re: New WK line: Magic The Gatheric unpainted minis
Yeah they will likely do a review of these. Nice to see them in hand.
I am hoping for painted versions of these later. Definitely could use the Wild Nacatl as a Tabaxi.
Was this gigantic "Omnath" thing announced before? Looks pretty wild, is this some sort of mixture elemental? I suppose would be a very easy paint job, given it's translucent.

Yeah we talked about it on a previous page. It's a nature elemental (there have been three magic cards) - but yeah easy to ink it up for sure. It is bigger than I thought it would be though.BBShockwave wrote: ↑Wed Jun 16, 2021 5:30 pm Yeah they will likely do a review of these. Nice to see them in hand.

Four Cards*
Locus of Mana (Green/Nature)
Locus of Rage (Green + Red, Nature & Emotion)
Locus of the Roil (Green + Red + Blue, Nature & Emotion & Controlling the World shaping events of his homeplane)
Locus of Creation (Green + Red + Blue + White , Pretty much The God of the plane at this point. Just missing Black mana)
Funny enough, this one model can be used for all 4 versions of him, at the difference between each is just what elemental mana/powers he has in his hands.
Re: New WK line: Magic The Gatheric unpainted minis
right I totally forgot about the 3 colour version!

GG's video went up on these.

I'm honestly disappointed in the mold lines. The orc with the circle of fire looks like it has no neck from some angles. I'm glad I didn't order any of the mediums. Still not sure how I feel about the others, I guess it'll depend on how I get inspired to paint them.

Some new ones, and I have really no idea who is who there, I mostly took guesses. Maybe Chardof03 can help identify them again?

Prices really went up, or the Brightsteel Colossus is Gargantuan, as it's 60$. However, one of the sets with 2 Human sized minis is just 5$ which is unusually low. Weird.

Re: New WK line: Magic The Gatheric unpainted minis
You do have some of those mislabeled there BBshockwave
The "wren" and "seven" are not two separate minis - it's the one labelled "Dryad" that is "Wrenn and Seven- Wrenn is a planeswalking dryad, who needs to adopt a new tree every few new planes as the tree doesn't survive travelling between planes particularly well. Her last tree was called "six" and she just got a new one, "Seven"
Arlinn Kord & Tovolar are the two werewolves that you did have labelled as Wrenn and Seven - being a planeswalker werewolf and a werewolf packleader from the world of Innistrad respectively. I wish they had actually done Arlinn in human and wolf forms instead of doing the two wolves in the same pack.
As for the others
Blightsteel Colossus is a massive construct (I expect Garg size based on the MSRP) from the world of New Phyrexia (formerly Mirrodin) - it is a corrupted version of the "Darksteel Colossus"
Archangel Avacyn was the protectors of humans on Innistrad from the many horrors that go bump in the night - however in the last Innistrad set (before the two that are coming out this year) she went mad due to the approach of what is effectively an elder god, and ended up killing a lot of humans, and then her creator Sorin (a Vampire planeswalker) had to unmake her,
Zurgo Helmsmasher & Unyielding Krumar - these are both Orcs from an alternate present in the World of Tarkir - in that alternate history Zurgo led the Mardu Horde - one of the 5 primary war-factions of the plan, and the Krumar was a regular member of the clan. Zurgo still exists in the current history of the world too (this involves complicated time travel stuff) - but as a lowly bell-ringer calling dragons in this worlds version of the horde, but led by the Elder Dragon Kolaghan.
Thraben Inspector & Tireless Tracker - These are two basic humans, both based on very popular cards though (I think I played both cards a few years in my best magic tournament performance at a Grand Prix ever actually - In contention for a small cash prize going into the last round of the event)

Re: New WK line: Magic The Gatheric unpainted minis
That Wrenn and Seven sculpt looks amazing. So much potential. I’m impressed.
Re: New WK line: Magic The Gatheric unpainted minis
So, that Blightsteel Colossus is going to be HUGE. If the unpainted scaling hasn't changed, that should mean:
Medium or smaller = $5
Large = $9
Huge = $15
Gargantuan = $30
Colossal+ = $60
We know Omnath and Galazeth or gargantuan, and their MSRP is $30 each, which means if they're charging $60 for this... It's gotta be at least the size of the Walking Statue... right?

Re: New WK line: Magic The Gatheric unpainted minis
It better be for the price. I'm thinking the size of the chardalyn dragon but upright.
