Well…. The quality apex has officially passed.

MARID – Not over the top quality, but over the top cool imo.

BEHOLDER LICH – Oooohhh yaaaa. Not many iconic BBEG better than this.

BONE NAGA – Well executed. Solid detail. Lots of skeletal minis come out as indistinct bone blobs. This mini looks great.

TSUCORA – Kind of meh all around….but I mention it because it is another older eberron mini, that is better than a new mini in a named eberron set.

LARGE BLACK DRAGON – Obvious mention.

WEREWOLF LORD – Great looking powerful mini, even though the pose is awkward. I like it not just because it is a large size werewolf…. It allowed me to throw an amazing twist with a hill giant adventure, turning into a werewolf.…. It really made the moment shocking for the PCs, having a large werewolf on the table.

Pseudodragon - Always had a strong love for this tiny guy!



Large Black Dragon - Black dragons are my favorite of the chromatics, and this is a pretty nice sculpt of one!



Asura - I'm not too fond of her outfit, but that colour scheme is just on point! Beautiful!



Can I also just mention how the Intellect Devourer in this set is a hundred times better than the one in Dungeon of the Mad Mage?

This is actually a pretty decent set now looking back.

I went with Devourer, Shambler Mound and Caller in Darkness

Fire Mephit, Black Dragon, Asura, Dire Wolf, Pseudodragon, Brass Dragon, Ice Elemental, bat, Bone Naga, Gorgon, Ultroloth, Intellect Devourer are all useful mini and my go toos.

I accidently left out one of my top favorite minis. The Bugbear Gang Leader.

Fantastic detail. Good paint job. Intimidating pose. Towering size for a medium. Duel wielding 2 super cool weapons (the axe could easily work as a magic weapon / story line set piece (especially if you touch it up with some colour and wash).

And the biggest story of this mini.....it is a common.
It is arguably the best bugbear produced. I have used it lots as a lower to mid level boss and it is a common! We complain about WotC messing up the rarity and size choices now, but this mini was an absolute gift.

This mini use to sell on miniature market for $3, until they realized how great it is and bumped it to $7. If you don't have one....buy it.

Im changing my vote to get this guy a spot.
