Well, the postal service was quite a bit faster than I expected, so I got this book today:

We put in a pre-order for x1 brick of the 50th anniversary set and... oh man are we happy with it.

We REALLY wanted to get x5 specific minis:
- 5E Gold Dragon
- 1E Gold Dragon
- 5E Lolth
- 5E Strahd
- 1E Ki-Rin

What we got in our brick was:
- 1E Gold Dragon
- 5E Lolth
- 1E Mordenkainen
- 5E Mordenkainen
- Red Warrior (Chase)

Image

It seems like we got super lucky, considering the fact that (from what I've seen so far on the interwebz) Lolth and the 1E Dragon are the most expensive rares in the set. We are 100% selling the Red Warrior and using the money to buy the 5E Dragon and the 5E Strahd (and maybe the Ki-Rin?)

Either way, super happy we got these because we really don't care much about the rest of the minis in the set. Acererak looks cool but we already have the 5E mini from the board game (we just need to paint it).

Best part about all of this is that we got during one of mtgandmore.de's anniversary promotions and that meant getting an Emerald Dragon for free with our order!

(The dragon came with a big of goo on his body which we will try to carefully scrape off later today.)

Next up; getting more DDM stuff because most of the new sets don't seem that interesting to us (at least not enough to buy any cases/bricks at full price right now.)

Man, the guy I recently bought Sandstorm from told me, "if you're interested, I've got some more D&D books..." So now I have another 11 D&D 3.x books on their way to me.

Nice getting the Slime Emerald Dragon for free! :D And congrats on the pulls, definitely seems like you got lucky there!

Definitely post the DDM stuff you get! ;)

All this mention of Sandstorm, I am only reminded of this dude who finally got a new toy this year. :D

Oh they are now giving away free Emerald Dragons? Guess they ran out of the Sapphire... Pity I already had both, but at least I did manage to sell that free Sapphire Dragon for some free money.
Mine also had this leftover plastic on the body, but you can scrape it away with a boxcutter pretty well, then maybe sand it away with a smooth sandpaper.

Got my Reaper Bones VI in and my last Next Level Kickstarter delivered. (see painting thread)

Saw all the 50th Anniversary stuff so added the Pit Fiend, Dragonborn Death Knight and Bugbear to my bunch of singles from older sets from KoL. Should be here next week.

D&D and PFB minis I bought with a friend from Joe Paxton.
For me: Dragonlance Character Pack Tem Temble, Dragon Army Ogre, Archfiends Xill and Sage, Death Saves Poe, Critical Role Cree and Kuul'Tevir Fighter, PFB H&M Ettin, RDI Crate and Barrel (was gonna be a Table but got sent this by mistake), RoW Goat and Maftet, FotRP Blue Viper and Manananggal, and Iconic Heroes V Leryn (the Wolf).
As before, Joe sent some extra minis too, I am keeping the Kobold Skirmisher, Red Hand Sorcerer repaint and the IotR Sahuagin.

Adult Blue Shadow Dragon (that's a mouthful to type/say!) and Adult Deep Dragon at discount from DnDMini, with the free Summer Eladrin.

CR - Characters of Tal'Dorei 1 and Wardlings mini from the Wizkids store sale. For some strange reason, they sent them in 2 package, not very happy as that meant I got to pay customs twice (and they calculate customs handling fee each time). Even so was worth it. From the CR set, I am only keeping the Kraghammer Goat Knight, I have or don't need the rest, my friend will have them.

And lastly, not minis but I know there are fans of this show on the forums... :P

Grabbed the DVDs for seasons 5 (both), 8 and 9 for 'Allo 'Allo! - I already had the show in english but this is one of the few shows that are just as fun dubbed. Now I have all the seasons in hungarian too. :)

I've seen enough Benny Hill to offset the Dukes of Hazzard influence that might have otherwise prohibited my appreciation of such humor.
This is too expensive.

Got a ping from a friend about an interesting lot for sale on one of the smaller sales site. I snagged it as I'm a sucker for weird lots and collections:

Looking forward to picking through it for treasures. I see a few rare mini, a good number of recongizable commons and uncommons along with lots of strange stuff.

That SKT Hill Giant looks like he got chickenpox and could not resist scratching... :D
I see he added nice snowy effects on the Frost Giant bases!
