Our Auggies order arrived finally. The 50th Anniversary stuff and half the PFB Fearsome Forces are for a friend.
He got lucky as we ended up with a Uni that isn't dirty/grey speckled.
Unfortunately, Auggies sent the 5E Kobold instead of the 1E one, and the 1E Elf had its sword broken off. But neither are super rare so I can get him some from my case.

Wow a Uni, DM and Bobby mini! Well done BB. The Lolth looks like she’s in good shape too. Great spread!

Yeah Lolth holds her front spider leg up as if she is pointing, but I think the mini is supposed to look that way.
My friend only wanted Dungeon Master and Uni, but I mis-remembered and got Bobby too. I am putting that one away for myself, depends on what chases I get in my case on whether I will trade this one for some other chase.
I am still deliberating on getting my case, sadly due to politics the HUF/EUR ratio is super high right now, so I am waiting.

Went to our weekly crafting session and supported the cafe that carries some Icons boosters once again (we absolutely love spending time there and the people that run it are just so lovely).

We are opening about x3 boosters of Witchlight every week (in hopes of getting the x3 hags!) and sometimes get an odd booster here and there.

Here are our AMAZING pulls from today!

x3 Witchlight Boosters + x1 Boneyard + x1 Spelljammer

I honestly only cared about getting the Solar Dragon from the Spelljammer set and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it in the box. This is our 2nd Spelljammer booster ever, and after Captain Flapjack, this was just an insane pull. We are basically done with that set! :D

The Solar Dragon had x3 broken spikes, but I found them in the box and we'll try to superglue them back on it tomorrow.

The Atropal is our second one (would have preferred a Sibriex actually) but can't complain since it will probably get sold to fund the purchase of other cool minis!

And our first hag is here! We got Skabatha! :D
Such a cool model with her little mount.

We are almost done crafting our illithid incubation pods but I also found some time to craft some other stuff and my partner finished up gluing some of the scrolls on the scroll shelves we were making last week (we have x2 more that we haven't finished actually). The tables and benches still need to be painted. I was just trying out things before moving on to making some beds.

Also x2 new dice sets. One for my partner and one for me (the tiny ones are for me).

Some pics from the last Frostmaiden session (my players are now going through my version of the Sunblight fortress!)

I will make a new thread to share my campaign shenanigans next week (when I find a bit more time). I loved getting inspiration from the builds many of you made here, so I hope I can give back some to you by sharing some of the stuff I built with terrain (and how I used minis) to you as well now!

We also found out we can move out a bit earlier, so gotta start planning packing and whatnot in a month or so! (It's a bittersweet feeling for multiple reasons, but we can't wait to start getting stuff ready.)

Can't wait to paint more D&L terrain and play more D&D. 8-)

Congrats, you pulled a lot of Rares, the Solar Dragon and Skabatha are going in the 40-50$ category, I think so does the Atropal (I have one up for sale too).

Its important for you know...hags come one to a brick....and since you just got the one from the current brick its incredibly unlikely you get another one from a physical source unless they break another brick.

Also...unfortunately the other two hags are pretty easily cherry-picked when you handle the boosters.

Oh man, that's good to know, thanks!

By cherry picked, you say that because they are heavier? Last I lifted a witchlight booster that was heavier I just got a fomorian xD

Some WizKids orders arriving. We have SO MUCH to paint.

On the other hand, it's really nice to be getting some of the Nolzur's dragons we put in our orders to fill up the carts for the WarLock demo kits and getting them in the hands of some of our friends who wanted to paint dragons.

Here are the ones we kept.
Image

I really like the look of white and blue dragons. I'm still sad they changed their look in the new books and still find that to be a stupid decision in so many ways (but so are many other decisions they've made in terms of art direction), but whatcha gonna do about it (keep enjoying what you like yourself and make your own, that's what you do).

Gonna paint the Nightmare and the PF dragons black and purple for my own series of Void dragons because they are perfect for that (it's a long story, you need to read the 500-page campaign book I published through Kickstarter). Might have to get more of them in the future since Nolzur's is perfect for customizing stuff however you want.

And some more WarLock tiles for the stash (this is the 10th and 11th demo kit, waiting for x2 more!)
Image

Ignore the Polish pastry in the back.

Oh and... we got plenty of Spring Eladrin promos for trade/sale if anyone is interested. 8-)
Image

Our move to Warsaw is in a month and we are already 100% sure that we will have issues with redirecting the remaining wizkids orders because their customer service is always very unhelpful when it comes to shipping.

Some random minatures from private sellers. Finally I got my favourite winter wolf mini.

And yes I brutally cut off the heroclix miniatures and glued them onto normal bases. The white hooded monk, green cloaked man and dark suited priest are a bit oversized but will be used either way or as goliaths.
The bladestrider will be used as a lonely sorrowsworn. Those iron mans will be artificers and the duplicates will have a shield later added.

I used to like that Winter Wolf but now that I got a second one (that I sold) and looked at it closer... he's so doofy. The head is way too big compared to the body, and the proportions, like the paws, are more Bear than Wolf. I think my favourite is the RotF one, I just wish it did not have such a visible line where the mouth is, where the 2 pieces of the head were put together.

On topic, these I got weeks ago but only got the pictures up on my PC now.
Using the QR code scanner, I was able to find identify all the D&D Lego minifigures. It seems the Lady of Pain, Tiefling Sorcerer, Tasha and Halfling Druid are way overstocked and in abundance, while the Mind Flayer, Dragonborn and Aarakocra are really scarce. https://falconbricks.com/figure-finder/
Also got some Nexus boosters, but nothing much of interest from those, apart from Garvin the Just and another Fanged Whelp.

Not just weight. You can press the sides and pretty easily tell which one has the lily-pad in it if you know what you are feeling for....and at this point, somebody will know and will grab those immediately. WL is awful for weight picking....cause yeah...the fomorians are heavy.

Also, the one with the weird flying thing can usually be identified also by poking in the right place on the outside of the box as I recall....it pushes up against the inside of the box in a specific way.

Earlier this week, when Arbados requested help in locating a cheap horde of zombie mini’s, I suggested looking for some Bones 6 zombies, since they were the Bones 6 bonus horde mini, and Bones 6 is just wrapping up delivering. I went looking for a listing on eBay to link him to, and found a decent one ($1 per zombie mini). But what I also found is that seller had a STUNNING deal on the Bones 5 Dragon Wolf miniature. I don’t know why he only had them listed at $4 each, but he did, and he had 6 of them.

Image

I can only assume he had dropped the price over time. Many of the more-highly-sought mini’s from Bones 6’s core set were $10 or $16.
Regardless, it was a mini I definitely wanted to get more of in Bones 5, but its ’Extras’ break-out subset wasn’t especially appealing ($15 for it and 3 other dragons from the core set), as opposed to the Dragon Lion, which was unlocked after the Extra packs had been constructed, and was thus offered individually as an Extras add-on, for $4, IIRC.

The seller also offered free shipping at $40, so I picked up the Bones 6 Marilith for $6, four more Bones 5 Dread Wolves (1 big, 3 small), and two copies of the Drow fungal tree stump companion.
